«Hoy en día es más fácil evitar el pecado que la muerte. Y, lamentablemente, cuanto más vivimos, más probable es que aumenten nuestros pecados. Si temes morir, debes comprender que vivir muchos años es aún más aterrador. Por lo tanto, prepárate siempre para la muerte (Lucas 21:36). Quien se esfuerza por vivir una vida sin remordimientos el día de su muerte es sabio y bienaventurado. No pospongas la salvación de tu alma ni dependas de amigos o vecinos. Es una gran lástima no vivir al máximo cuando se puede obtener la vida eterna. Para tener seguridad respecto a la muerte, somete tu carne mediante el arrepentimiento. ¿Quién se acordará de ti cuando mueras y quién orará por ti? Por lo tanto, amigo mío, haz todo lo que puedas ahora. Mientras tengas tiempo, acumula riquezas eternas para ti (Lucas 12:33). Piensa solo en la salvación y centra tu atención únicamente en las cosas de Dios. Avanza para que tu alma pueda unirse gozosamente con Dios después de la muerte.»
