혹시 지금 교회가 주님의 명령을 거역하고 주님의 계명을 어겨 그 주변의 세상 사람들보다 더 많은 악을 행하고 있는 것은 아닌지요?

이것은 우리가 주님의 이중 계명인 “네 마음을 다하고 정성을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 주 너의 하나님을 사랑하라”와 “네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라”(마태복음
22:37, 39, 현대인의 성경)를 거절하고 주님께서 정한 규정대로 행하지 않았기 때문입니다(참고: 에스겔 5:6, 현대인의 성경). 지금 우리는 우리 주변에 있는 세상 사람들보다 더 많은 소란을 피우고 주님의 계명과 규정을 지키지 않고 있을 뿐만 아니라 세상 사람들이 지키는 세상의 법대로도 행하지 않고 있습니다(참고: 7절, 현대인의 성경).
