A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 자기 부인 안하고 예수님을 부인하고 있다? 



하나님의 일을 생각하지 않고 사람의 일을 생각하고 있었던 베드로는 예수님을 따르기 위해서는 자기를 부인하고 자기 십자가를 지고 예수님을 따랐어야 했는데( 8:33-34) 예수님이 잡히셨을 때 멀찍이 예수님을 따라 대제사장의 바깥 뜰에서 예수님을 세번이나 부인했습니다( 26:47-75).  자기를 부인하고 예수님을 따라야 제자가 예수님을 부인한 것입니다.  지금 내가 그러고 있는 것은 아닌지 뒤돌아 봅니다.
