하여금 마른 강바닥을 밟고 건너가게 하셨습니다. 하나님께서 이와 같이 놀라운 일을 행하신 것은 세상에 사는 모든 민족에게 하나님의 위대하신 능력을 깨닫게 하고 또 우리가 우리 하나님을
영원히 두려운 마음으로 섬기도록 하기 위해서였습니다(여호수아 4:22-24, 현대인의 성경). 동일하신
하나님께서는 우리의 신앙의 여정에서도 놀라운 일을 행하시사 하나님의 위대하신 능력을 깨닫게 하고 계십니다. 그러므로 우리는 하나님을 항상 경외함으로 하나님을 섬겨야
합니다.
