A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. 만일 우리가 거룩하신 하나님을 의지하지 않고 하나님의 도움을 구하지도 않으면서 우리가 보기에 부자들의 막강한 재력을 의지하면 지혜로우신 하나님은 일어나셔서 악을 행하는 우리를 치시며 또한 우리를 돕는 자들도 벌하실 것입니다.  하나님께서 손을 뻗치시면 돕는 자들도 넘어지고 도움을 받는 우리도 쓰러져 함께 재앙을 받아 고통을 당할 것입니다(참고: 이사야 31:1-3, 현대인의 성경).
