God, who preserves my soul in every trouble, is my help.

 

 

I am in trouble because those who hate peace are lying and deceiving,

and they seek to fight despite my desire for peace.

Therefore, I cried out to God, who made heaven and earth, my help,

and His response is to keep me from stumbling, neither slumbering nor sleeping,

but keeping my soul in every trouble

(Mt. 5:9; Ps. 120:1-2, 6-7; 121:1-4, 7).
