I desire peace for the
church of God.
I desire peace for the church of God.
However, there are those within the church who
hate peace.
They seek to disrupt the peace of the church
with their false lips and deceitful tongues.
Therefore, I cry out to God, who is my help.
I pray
for peace within the church, hoping for peace to be found within its walls.
I seek blessings for the house of God because I
love God's church.
God will answer me and keep the church from
stumbling,
neither slumbering nor sleeping, guarding it
from all dangers, now and forevermore.
Therefore, when people say to me, "Let us
go to the house of the Lord!"
I rejoice
and go up to the house of the Lord, giving thanks to the name of the Lord
(Ps. 120:1-2, 6-7; 121:2-4; 7-8; 122:1, 4, 6-9).
