만일 우리가 하나님을 떠나서 재물을 우상화하여 돈을 좇아 섬기면서 하나님을 버리고 하나님의 계명을 지키지 않고 하나님께 범죄하면 하나님은 우리에게서 기쁨과 평화를 빼앗을 것이며 하나님의 사랑과 자비를 거두실 것입니다(참고: 예레미야 16:5, 9-11, 현대인의 성경).
