Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 하나님의 백성들이 잃은 양떼처럼 되었습니다.  목자들이 그들을 잘못 인도하여 죄악 세상에서 방황하도록 내버려 두어서 그들은 여기 저기 헤매다가 곳을 잊어버렸습니다.  그들을 만나는 사탄의 세력들은 그들을 삼키고 있습니다(참고: 예레미야 50:6-7, 현대인의 성경).
