A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. 큰 복을 주시는 하나님 (엡1:3)
하나님께서 주시는 복을 받기 싫어하는 사람은 아마 없을 것입니다.
물질의 복과 인복을 풍성히 받은 이스라엘 백성들도 하나님으로부터 온 이 큰 복들을 받은 후 ‘즐거워’했던 것입니다. 그러나 문제는 복을 받은 후라 생각합니다.
받은 복을 어떻게 누리는 것이 옳은지 판단할 수 있는 성숙한 인격이 받쳐주지 않으면 결국은 이스라엘 백성들처럼 주님이 주신 복으로 자기
배만 부르게 하면서 인생을 낭비하게 되는 것입니다. 그러면 복을 누릴 줄 아는 성숙한 인격을 어떻게 소유 할 수 있습니까?
복보다 하나님의 계명에 이끌림을 받는 마음이 되어야 할 것입니다.
이스라엘 백성들처럼 하나님의 율법은 자신들의 등뒤에 두고 이 땅에서 배 부른 사람들이 되어 버리면 그것은 하나님을 크게 모독하는 죄를
범하는 것입니다.
하나님의 계명을 앞에 두고 그 말씀에 이끌림을 받을 때에 하나님께서 이땅에서 우리에게 주시는 큰 복을 통하여 하나님께 영광을 돌릴 수
있는 것입니다.
우리는 이미 “하늘에 속한 모든 신령한 복”(엡1:3)을 받은 자들입니다.
복중의 복되신 예수님 안에서 이 모든 복을 겸손히 또한 지혜롭게 누려서 하나님께 큰 영광을 돌려야 할 것입니다.
