그리스도 예수 안에 있는 우리 그리스도인에게는 결코 정죄함이 없습니다(로마서 8:1). 그 이유는 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 생명을 주는 성령의 법["하나님의 법"(7:22, 25), "믿음의 법"(3:27)]이 사망에 이르게 하는 죄의 법(8:2, 참고: 7:23, 25)에서 우리를 해방하였기 때문입니다(8:2).
우리는 죄의 법에서 해방되었습니다(7:23, 25, 8:2).
우리는 죄에게 종 노릇 하는데서 해방되었습니다(6:6, 16, 17)
우리는 사망에서 해방되었습니다(6:23, 8:2).
이젠 우리는 영생(영원한 생명)을 얻었습니다(6:22,
23).
이젠 우리는 의에게 종이 되었습니다(18절).
이젠 우리는 하나님께 종이 되었습니다(22절).
그러므로 이젠 우리는 하나님의 뜻대로 살아야 합니다(시편 40:8).
