주님의 징계하심을 경히 여겨서도 안되겠지만 그렇다고 낙심해서도 안된다.   이유는 주님의 징계하심은 주님께서 나를 사랑하신다는 증거요주님께서 나를 자녀로 받아들이시고 대우하신다는 증거요또한 주님께서는 나의 유익을 위하시고 계시기 때문이다(히브리서 12:5-10).
