자칭 큰 자의 말을 듣기 보다 예수 그리스도의 복음을 들어야 합니다!
자칭 "큰 자"(자기가 대단한
사람인 양 떠들어대는 사람)요 사람들이 보기에도 하나님의 "큰 능력"을 받은 사람"이었던 마술을
행하던 시몬도 빌립이 하나님의 나라와 예수 그리스도의 이름에 관하여 전도함을 받아 믿고 세례를 받은 후 전심으로 빌립을 따라다니며 그 나타나는
표적과 "큰 능력"을 보고 놀랐습니다(사도행전 8:9-13). 우리는 자칭 '큰 목사'요 하나님의
"큰 능력"을 받은 목사님처럼 보이는 사람의 말을 듣기 보다
"모든 믿는 자에게 구원을 주시는 하나님의 능력"이 되는 예수
그리스도의 복음을 들어야 합니다(로마서 1:16; 참고:
디모데후서 4:3).
