선입관을 뛰어넘지 못하고 변화의 기회를 마음으로 차단하는 것은 불신앙입니다.
주님께서 우리에게 "가서
... 찾으라"(사도행전 9:11)는 사람에 대하여 우리가 아직도 선입관을 가지고 있다면 우리는 주님의 명령에
순종하지 않을 것입니다. 주님께서 이미
만나셔서 변화시켜 주신 사람에 대한 우리의 옛 기억에 근거한 선입관을 뛰어넘지 못하면 우리는 주님의 말씀에서 순종하여 가서 그 사람을 찾지 않을
것입니다. 주님께서 충분히 변화시킬
수 있는 "사울"과 같은 사람을 우리가 그
"사울"은 절대 "바울"로 변하지 않을꺼야 라고 단정짓고 변화의 기회를 우리 마음에서 차단하는 것은
주님을 마음을 다하여 신뢰하는 것이 아닙니다(잠언 3:5).
