바울은 "기도할 곳이 있을까" 하여 성문 밖 강가로 나가서 루디아를 만나 주님께서 그녀의 마음을 열어 바울의 말에 귀를 기울이게 하시사 주님이 뜻대로 그녀와 온
집안 식구들이 다 예수님을 믿고 세례를 받았습니다(16:13-15).
이렇게 "기도하는 중"에 주님이 계획하신 만남을 통해 주님이 뜻인 놀라운 구원의 역사와 사명을 받아 예수 그리스도와 복음을 위해 생명을 버리는 사람으로
거듭납니다(마가복음 8:35).
