A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God.  우리의 이중 사명



우리 모든 그리스도인들의 공통된 이중 사명 (twofold calling)은 외면적으로는 복음을 증거하는 (20:24)과 내면적으로는 복음에 합당한 삶을 사는 것이다(1:27).  그러나 한국 교회는 복음을 증거하는 외면적인 사명을 너무 강조한 반면에 내면적인 사명인 복음에 합당한 삶을 살아야 한다는 것을 너무 강조하고 있지 않다.   결과 입술로는 복음이 전해지고 있는지는 모르겠지만 우리의 삶은 복음 전파의 거침돌(장애물) 되고 있다.
