God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing. 우리의 이중 사명 우리 모든 그리스도인들의 공통된 이중 사명 (twofold calling) 은 외면적으로는 복음을 증거하는 것 ( 행 20:24) 과 내면적으로는 복음에 합당한 삶을 사는 것이다 ( 빌 1:27). 그러나 한국 교회는 복음을 증거하는 외면적인 사명을 너무 강조한 반면에 내면적인 사명인 복음에 합당한 삶을 살아야 한다는 것을 너무 강조하고 있지 않다 . 그 결과 입술로는 복음이 전해지고 있는지는 모르겠지만 우리의 삶은 복음 전파의 거침돌 ( 장애물 ) 이 되고 있다 .
