우리의 이중 사명 우리 모든 그리스도인들의 공통된 이중 사명 (twofold calling) 은 외면적으로는 복음을 증거하는 것 ( 행 20:24) 과 내면적으로는 복음에 합당한 삶을 사는 것이다 ( 빌 1:27). 그러나 한국 교회는 복음을 증거하는 외면적인 사명을 너무 강조한 반면에 내면적인 사명인 복음에 합당한 삶을 살아야 한다는 것을 너무 강조하고 있지 않다 . 그 결과 입술로는 복음이 전해지고 있는지는 모르겠지만 우리의 삶은 복음 전파의 거침돌 ( 장애물 ) 이 되고 있다 .
