분명히 하나님께서는 사무엘에게 '사울이 내게서 떠나고 내 명령에 순종하지 않았다'고 말씀하셨는데 사울은 사무엘에게
"나는 여호와의 명령을 그대로 수행하였소"라고 말했습니다(사무엘상 15:10, 13, 현대인의 성경). 이 말씀을 묵상할 때 (1) 하나님 보시기에 우리는 분명히 하나님의 명령에 불순종했는데도 불구하고 우리 스스로는 하나님의 명령에 그대로 순종했다고 충분히 착각할
수 있으며, (2) 사무엘의 입장에서 하나님의 말씀을 믿지 어떻게 사울 왕의 말을 믿을 수 있겠습니까? 그럼에도 불구하고 우리는 하나님의 말씀을 믿기 보다 사람의
말을 더 믿을 때가 있지는 않는지요?
