A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 사탄의 나라에는 오직 속임수와 사악함만 있습니다. 그러나 하나님의 나라에는 오직 진리와 순결이 있습니다.
우리는 속임수로 우리를 유혹하는 자들을 대적해야
합니다. 시편 기자는 “인생들아
어느 때까지 나의 영광을 바꾸어 욕되게 하며 헛된 일을 좋아하고 거짓을 구하려는가”라고 말했습니다(시4:2).
여기서 “거짓”이란 ‘속임수’를 말씀합니다.
시편 기자 다윗은 많은 대적들은 이미 다윗의
영혼에게 ‘하나님께서 너를 구원하시지 않는다’라고 거짓말로 대적했습니다(3:2). 여기서
속임수란 ‘하나님이 너를 구원하시지 않는다’라는 것으로서 그것은 결국 ‘하나님은 구원자가 아니다’라고 거짓말하는
것입니다.
이것은 구원자 하나님을 부인하게 만드는 속임수입니다. 이러한 속임수는 지금도 사탄이 우리에게 사용하여 하나님의
구원을 의심하게 만들려고 힘쓰고 있습니다. 거짓말의 아버지인 사탄은 우리로 하여금 그의 속임수에 넘어가 하나님의 하나님 되심과 그가 우리를 위하여 행하시는 구원을 의심하게
만들려고 무척이나 애쓰고 있습니다. 또 다른 사탄의 속임수는 우리 자신 스스로를 속이게 만들고 있습니다(약1:22).
하나님의 말씀을 듣기만 하고 행하지 말라는
사탄의 속임수에 우리는 너무나 수없이 넘어지고 있습니다. 그러므로 성경 에베소서 4장 14절은
우리에게도 이렇게 말씀하고 있습니다: “우리는 이 이상 더 어린아이로 있어서는 안 됩니다. 우리는 인간의 속임수나, 간교한 술수에 빠져서, 온갖 교훈의 풍조에 흔들리거나, 이리저리 밀려다니지 말아야 합니다"(새번역).
