모든 부인들은 자기 남편을 존경해야 합니다.  결코 부인들은 남편을 무시하고 멸시해서는 안 됩니다.  그것은 잘못하는 것입니다.  그리하면 남편들은 분노를 느낄 수밖에 없을 것입니다.  지혜로운 부인들은 자기 남편으로 하여금 가정에 가장으로서의 권위를 존중하여 그로 하여금 자기 집안을 잘 다스리도록 도울 것입니다(참고: 에스더 1:16-21, 현대인의 성경).
