언젠가 종미 자매에게 저에게 '힘을 빼는 것이 힘듭니다'라는 말을 한적이 있습니다. 저는 어제 토요새벽기도회 설교 하면서 우리가 장레식을 가서라도 우리의 죽음을 생각하면서 힘을 빼야 한다고 도전했습니다. 특히 생각의 힘을 빼야 한다고 권면했습니다. 하나님의 생각과 우리의 생각이 천지 차이라고 성경에서 말씀하고 있는데 우리는 가정에서 부부 관계나 자녀와의 관계 등등에서 선입관이나 우리의 생각이 너무나 굳어져있는 것 같습니다. 그렇게 되면 하나님께서 우리 각자의 마음과 삶 속에셔 변화의 역사를 이루시는 것을 우리가 제안하고 있는 죄를 범하는 것입니다. 등등. 저는 작년 말부터 "죽음은 기회입니다"라는 제목 아래 전도서 7장 2절 말씀 중심으로 설교를 하고 있습니다. 우리가 죽음의 관점을 가지고 살아갈 때(저의 경우 서현교회에서 청년사역하게 하시다가 승리장로교회 돌아오게하셔서 노인 사역케 하시면서 죽음의 관점을 가르쳐 주셨고 주시고 계시기에) 유익 3가지 중 2가지를 설교했습니다: (1) 인간의 무능력함과 무기력함을 깨닫고 인정함으로 더욱더 하나님을 전적으로 의지하게 되는 것, (2) 순간적인 것을 추구하기보다 영원한 것을 추구하게 되는 것.
