A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 불신자 사공들은 불순종하는 요나 선지자보다 더 주님의 뜻을 행하였습니다(1:14).  
그리고 불신자 사공들은 불순종하는 요나 선지자의 생명을 아꼈지만(13)

요나는 니느웨 성읍에 사는 좌우를 분변하지 못하는 120,000여명을 아끼지 않았습니다(4:11).   

요나가 아낀 것은 자기의 괴로움을 면하게 해준 박넝쿨(6), 자기가 수고도 아니하였고 재배도 아니하였고 하룻밤에 났다가 하룻밤에 말라 버린 박넝쿨이었습니다(6, 10).   

왜 하나님께서는 이렇게 하나님의 마음을 품지 못하고 하나님의 뜻대로 순종하지 않는 요나 선지자 한 사람을 아끼셨을까요?
