Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 돈을 좋아하는 교인들은 ..




돈을 좋아하는 교인들은 주님께서 잠시 땅에 맡기신 주님의 재산을 주님의 뜻대로 재산 관리를 하지 않고 오히려 주님 보시기에 낭비를 합니다.  그래서 주님께서 그들에게 ' 이상 내가 너에게 재산을 맡길 없으니 지금까지 네가 맡아 하던 청지기 직무 일을 정리하라' 말씀하십니다.   돈을 좋아하는 교인들은  세상 사람들처럼 자기 나름대로 지혜롭게 한답시고 정직하지 못하게 불의한 재물을 불성실하게 모읍니다.  그러한 자들에게 주님께서는 "너희는 하나님과 재물을 함께 섬길 없다" 말씀하십니다.  그런데도 돈을 좋아하는 교인들은 말씀을 듣고 비웃습니다(누가복음 16:1-14, 현대인의 성경).
