Herod wants to kill You.’   He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.”   In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem!   Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.   Look, your house is left to you desolate.   I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Luke 13:31–35).     ...

젊어서 결혼하여 남편에게 버림을 받아 마음에 근심하는 아내를 다시 맞이하듯 주님께서는 우리를 부르시고 우리에게 이렇게 말씀하십니다: “내가 잠시 너를 버렸으나 큰 사랑으로 다시 너를 맞이하겠다.  내가 잠시 분노하여 너를 외면했으나 영원한 자비로 너를 불쌍히 여기겠다”(참고: 이사야 54:6-8, 현대인의 성경).
