그 기쁨을 맛보고 싶습니다.
우리의 본능은 미워하는 것입니다.
우리는 본능은 용서하는 것이 결코 아닙니다.
그런데 하나님은 우리에게 그 본능대로 살지 말고 오히려 우리를 미워하는 자를 용서하고 사랑하라고 말씀하고 계십니다(누가복음 6:37; 마태복음 5:44).
우리에게는 이 하나님의 말씀을 순종할 능력이 하나도 없습니다.
그 능력을 주시는 이는 오직 하나님이십니다.
"하나님은 자기의 선한 목적에 따라 여러분이(우리가) 자발적으로 행동하도록 여러분(우리)
안에서 일하십니다"(빌립보서 2:13).
하나님은 우리 안에서 성령의 열매인 사랑을 맺게하시므로 (갈라디아서 5:22)
우리의 본능을 뛰어넘어 우리를 미워하는 자를 용서하고 사랑케 하십니다.
용서하며 사랑하는 삶에는 신적인 기쁨이 있습니다(시편 90:14).
그 기쁨을 맛보고 싶습니다.
