인생의 흉년으로 말미암아 재물을 잃는 것이 소중한 생명을 잃는 것보다 낫습니다.

인생의 흉년 가운데에 있을 때 재물을 지키려다가 사랑하는 사람의 목숨까지 잃어서는 아니됩니다.

풍부한 재물이 있는 가운데서는 필요성을 못느꼈던 하나님의 돌보심을 소중한 생명을 잃고 나서야 들리나 봅니다(룻기 1:1-6).
