Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. 오병이어의 기적을 이루시기 전에 "하늘을 우러러 감사 기도를 드리신" 예수님께서는 죽은 나사로를 살리시기 전에도 "하늘을 우러러보시고 "아버지여 내 말을 들으신 것을 감사하나이다"라고 기도를 드리셨습니다(마태복음 14:19, 현대인의 성경; 요한복음 11:41).  하나님의 놀라운 역사는 우리가 믿음으로 하늘을 우러러 하나님께 감사 기도를 드릴 때 일어납니다.
