공동체적인 책임이 있습니다.
교회란 공동체 안에서 예수님을 믿는 우리는 주님의 몸된 교회의 한 지체로서 공동체적인 책임이 있습니다. 예를 들어, 우리는 우리 자신만을 위하여 믿음이 성장해야 할뿐만 아니라 공동체 전체를 위해서도 믿음이 성장해야 합니다. 또한 우리는 하나님의 말씀에 순종하여 우리 자신의 영혼을 위해서 죄를 범하지 말아야 하지만 공동체 전체를 위해서도 죄를 범하지 않아야 합니다. 특히 우리는 탐심의 죄를 물리쳐야 합니다. 우리는 탐심을 매우 경계해야 합니다(전7:7). 그 이유는 탐심은 탈취하게 만듭니다. 우리 안에 아간처럼 탐심이 있으면 우리는 온전히 하나님께 받쳐져야 할 물건을 도둑질하기까지 합니다. 그 결과 아간이란 한 사람의 범죄를 인하여 이스라엘 전체가 고통을 당한 것처럼(수6:18) 나 한 사람의 범죄로 말미암아 온 교회가 괴로움을 당할 수 있습니다(7:25, 고전12:26).
