Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. 마음에는 근심과 그치지 않는 고통이 필요합니다(로마서 9:1).  내가 저주를 받아 그리스도에게서 끊어질정도로 간절히 원하고(3하나님께 간구하는 것이(10:1) 사랑하는 이들의 영혼 구원이길 기원합니다.
