예수님은 하나님이 정하신 대로 죽음을 향해 나아가고 계셨지만 예수님의 제자들 사이에서는 누가 가장 위대하냐고 하는 문제로 말 다툼이 생겼습니다.  겸손하신 예수님과 대조적으로 우리는 교만합니다(누가복음 22:22, 24, 현대인의 성경).
