자비로우신 하나님께서 교회에게 영원히 노하지 않을 것입니다.  그러므로 하나님께서는 우리에게 우리가 하나님을 배반하고 불순종하여 우상을 섬기는 죄를 인정하고 고백하며 돌아오라고 말씀하고 계십니다(참고: 예레미야 3:12-13, 현대인의 성경).
