Crisis is a great opportunity
to be led by the promises of God's word.
Crisis is a great opportunity
to hear God's voice in the midst of desperate
spirits.
Our responsibility
is not only to believe in the faithful God
who has
given us His promises
but also to have the conviction
that "what God has spoken to me will surely
be fulfilled"
and to be courageous
(Acts 27:23-25).
Turning crisis into an opportunity for preaching the gospel ...
Even amidst crises where his life was threatened
by crowds,
the Apostle Paul proclaimed the gospel of Jesus
Christ through his testimony
(Acts 21:27-22).
The reason being that Paul considered his life
of no value to him,
but only as a means to complete the task he
received from Jesus,
the task of testifying to the gospel of God's
grace (20:24).
With a sense of mission like that of the Apostle
Paul,
those who are willing to sacrifice their lives
for Jesus and the gospel
(Mark 8:35) continue to proclaim the gospel of
Jesus Christ
even in the face of threats to their lives.
