주님을 두려워하지 않는 바로 그것이 악이요 고통입니다.




우리의 죄악이 우리를 벌할 것이며 주님을 버린 배신 행위가 우리를 책망할 것입니다.  우리가 주님을 저버린 것과 주님을 두려워하지 않는 바로 그것이 악이요 고통인 것을 우리가 알게 것입니다(참고: 예레미야 2:19, 현대인의 성경).
