From corrupt character to divine character ...

 

 

God sent his Son in the likeness of sinful humanity to deal with our sin.

By placing our sin on Jesus Christ,

we are not only liberated from the bondage of sin and death,

but also blessed with the amazing grace of having our corrupted nature

transformed into the nature of Jesus Christ ('the divine nature')

(Romans 8:2-3; 2 Peter 1:4).
