A. What Is Biblical Mission? “Biblical mission means more than simply going overseas to plant churches or spread civilization. It means the church participating in the ‘mission of God (Missio Dei)’ and seeking the restoration of God’s rule and glory throughout the whole earth. Mission is not a program that begins with human enthusiasm; rather, it is the heart of God that runs throughout the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, and is a fundamental reason for the church’s existence. Let me clearly summarize five essential principles of true mission as presented in Scripture. 🌍 1. The Mission of God (Missio Dei) The subject and initiator of mission is not human beings but God. In order to save fallen humanity, God first comes to us, sends His Son, and sends the Holy Spirit. He is the “missionary God” who sends. 착한 사람 바나바
착한 사람은 성령과 믿음이 충만한 자입니다 (행
11:24).
바나바는 성령과 믿음이 충만한 착한 사람이었습니다.
바나바는 예루살렘 공동체에서 인정 받는 사람이었습니다.
그래서 그는 안디옥으로 보냄을 받았습니다(22절).
교회에서 인정 받는 사람은 언행일치하는 사람과 하나님이 찾으시는 예배자입니다(요4:23-24).
바나바는 하나님의 은혜를 볼 줄 아는 사람이었습니다(23절).
그는 영안이 열려서 영적인 것을 보았습니다.
착한 사람은 믿음의 눈으로 성령 하나님의 역사하시는 것을 봅니다.
바나바는 영적인 것을 보고 기뻐하였습니다(23절)
그는 육체적인 것을 보고 기뻐한 것이 아닙니다.
바나바는 권하는 자(encourager)였습니다.
그는 안디옥 교회 형제들에게 "굳은 마음으로
주께 붙어있으라"고 권하였습니다(23절).
착한 사람은 성령의 위로의 도구로 쓰임 받습니다.
바나바는 비전의 사람이었습니다.
그의 비전은 사람을 세우는 것이었습니다.
그는 사울(바울)을 세우고 뒤로 물러났습니다(25-26절).
저도 바나바와 같은 착한 사람, 성령과 믿음의 충만한 사람이 되고 싶습니다.
