“I Can Do Nothing on My Own. Only the Lord Who Dwells in Me Can Do It.”

  “I Can Do Nothing on My Own.   Only the Lord Who Dwells in Me Can Do It.”         “I can do nothing on My own. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me” (John 5:30).     (1)    After reading the entire passage of John 5:30–47 in Korean under the title “The Testimony That Leads People to Believe in Jesus,” I felt a strong desire to continue meditating on just one verse, verse 30. Therefore, today I would first like to meditate on this single verse.   As I meditate on it, I would particularly like to focus on the expression “My judgment,” referring to the Lord’s judgment.   I also want to consider it together with the judgment before the Great White Throne described in Revelation 20:11–15 and receive the lessons the Lord teaches us through these passages.   (a)     First, I would like to meditate on Jesus’ w...

"내 마음 속에 걱정이 태산 같았을 때"



"내 마음 속에 걱정이 태산 같았을 때"(시편 94:19, 현대인의 성경) 주님은 나를 버리지 아니하시며, 외면하지 않으셨습니다(14절).  오히려 주님은 내게 도움이 되셨습니다(17절).  '하나님, 제가 미그러집니다'라고 외칠 때에 주님의 사랑이 나를 붙들어 주셨습니다(18절).  결국 주님께서는 주님의 위로로 내 영혼을 즐겁게 하셨습니다(19절).
