Devotional Reflection Based on the Incident of Peter Cutting Off Malchus's Ear: “Then one of those standing near drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.” ( Mark 14:47, Today's Korean Version ) 1. Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.” ( John 18:10 ) 2. 성경은 원수를 사랑하라고 말씀하고 있습니다. 



우리의 원수는 우리를 미워하며우리를 저주하며우리를 모욕하며우리의 빰을 칩니다.  그런데 성경은 우리의 원수를 사랑하라고 말씀하고 있습니다.  성경은 우리를 미워하는 원수를 선대하고우리를 저주하는 원수를 위하여 축복하며우리를 모욕하는 원수를 위하여 기도하며우리의 빰을 치는 원수에게 다른 빰도 돌려대라고 말씀하고 있습니다(누가복음 6:27-29).
