God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. 바라바 보다 더 큰 죄인 예수?
어떻게 그 무리들은 "폭동과 살인죄로 감옥에 갇힌 죄수"인 "바라바"를 "석방"해 달라고 로마 총독 본디오 빌라도에게 요구하고 예수님은 저주의 나무인 십자가에 못 박으라고로 그리도 큰 소리로 채촉한 것일까요? (눅 23:23, 25) 그 유대인들의 입장에서는 나사렛 예수가 바라바 보다 더 큰 죄인으로 여겼기 때문입니다. 그들의 관점에서는 바라바는 폭동과 살인죄였지만 예수의 죄는 신성 모독죄요(5:21; 마11:27; 27:43) 또한 성전 모독죄(요2:19)였기 때문입니다. 이렇게 예수님을 믿지 않는 불신앙이란 우리의 죄를 짊어지시고 십자가에 죽으시고자 이 세상에 오신 죄 없으신 예수님을 무지한 가운데 십자가에 못 박게 한 것입니다.
