하나님께서는 소수의 교인들로 하여금 그 교회를 충분히 와해시키실 수 있습니다.
하나님께서는 “소수의 병력”에 불과한 시리아(아람) 군으로 하여금 하나님을 저버린 요아스 왕과 유다 백성들의 “대군”과 맞서 싸워 승리를 얻게 하시므로 요아스 왕을 심판하셨습니다(역대하 22:24,
현대인의 성경). 공의로우신 하나님께서 하나님을 저버린 자와 공동체를 심판하실 때 그 공동체의 숫자는 아무 의미가 없습니다. 하나님께서는 소수의 교인들로 하여금 그 교회를 충분히 와해시키실 수 있습니다.
