엄청난 어려운 일을 당면했을 때 하나님 앞에 잠잠히 머물러 있으면서 과거를 회상하면서 우리 같은 죄인도 친구로 여기시고 우리를 위해 십자가에서 자기 목숨을 버리시사 이보다 더 큰 사랑이 없음을 보여주신 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 우리에게 베풀어주신 큰 은혜와 사랑을 기억하며 하나님께 믿음으로 감사 기도를 먼저 드려야 합니다(참고: 역대하 20:7; 요한복음 15:13, 현대인의 성경).
