엄청난 대군이 여호사밧 왕을 치려고 에돔에서 와서 이미 하사손-다말을 점령했다는 보고를 들었을 때 여호사밧 왕은 두려워서 하나님께 물어보기로 결심하고 모든 유다 백성에게 금식 선포령을 내렸습니다(역대하 20:1-3, 현대인의 성경). 어제 월요일 오후에 사랑하는 대학교 후배 형제와 Zoom으로 기도 모임을 했었는데 그 형제와 저와 함께 마음을 나눈 것은 우리가 육신의 눈으로 볼 때 감사할 수 없는 상황이라 할지라도
믿음으로 미리 감사하기로 결심하자고 대화했습니다. 우리는 엄청난 어려운 일을 갑자기 접하게 될 때 다니엘처럼 우리 하나님 앞에서 우리 자신을 낮추려고 결심하고(다니엘 10:12, 현대인의 성경) 또한 여호사밧 왕처럼
