변장을 해도 소용이 없습니다!
아합 왕이 “변장”을 하고 전쟁터로 나간 것을 보면 그는 그에게 “진실”을 말한 미가야 선지자의 말을 전혀 듣지 않은 것은 아닌 것 같습니다. 즉, 아합 왕은 미가야
선지자가 자신에 대해서 “나쁜 일”을 예언하는 것을 듣고 의식한 것
같습니다. 그래서 그는 살아서 이스라엘로
돌아가려고 변장을 한 것 같습니다. 그러나 마구 쏜 적병의 화살 하나가 아합 왕의 갑옷 솔기에 꽂혀서 결국 그는 자기 전차에 버티고 서서 시리아군과 맞서 싸우다가 해질
무렵에 죽고 말았습니다(역대하 18:29-34, 현대인의 성경). 아합 왕의 죽음은 미가야 선지자가 예언한 말씀이 진실이라는
것을 증명했고 또한 그 진실된 말씀을 예언한 미가야야 말로 하나님의 참 선지자임을 증명했습니다. 성령님께서 우리 영과 함께 우리가 하나님의 자녀라는 사실을
증거하신다는 말씀이 생각났습니다(로마서 8:16, 현대인의 성경).
