사탄과 그의 세력이 우리 가정과 교회를 공격할 때 우리에게는 “막아낼 힘”이 없기에 “우리는 어떻게 해야 좋을지 몰라
주만 바라보고 있습니다”(참고: 역대하 20:12, 현대인의 성경). 이렇게
영적 전쟁을 할 때 우리의 무능력함과 무기력함을 깊이 경험으로 깨닫게 될 때에서야 우리는 무엇을 어떻게 해야 할지 몰라 주님만 바라보는 것 같습니다. 그러므로 엄청난 어려운 일은 두 가지 사실을 깨닫게 하는
것 같습니다: (1) 나 자신의 무능력함과 무기력함, (2) 나의 의지의
대상은 오직 전능하신 구원의 하나님.
