예수님께서는 물고기 2마리와 5개로 남자만 5,000 되는 무리들을 먹이셨는데( 9:13-14) 예수님의 사도들은 예수님 안에서 죽은 자의 부활이 있다고 백성을 가르치고 전함으로 말씀을 들은 사람 중에 믿는 자가 남자만 5,000명이었습니다( 4:1-4).
