Chapter 11: Emptying “Grumbling” In the previous chapter, we looked at the life of emptying ourselves of sexual immorality and wrongful desires and turning our love back toward God. 아무리 교인이 "예물"을 받으라고 강권해도 거절을 할 줄 알아야 할텐데. 지금은 그런 것을 받을 때가 아닌 줄을 알아야 할텐데(열왕기하 5:15-16, 26).
"게하시" 같은 목사가 되어서는 아니 됩니다.
무엇이든지 교인들에게서 받으려고 그들을 쫓아다녀서는 아니 됩니다(20절). 거짓말까지 해가면서 교인들에게 돈을 받아서는 아니 됩니다(22절). 받은 돈을 아무도 모르게 감추고 숨기려고 해서도 아니 됩니다(24-25절).
