Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. 자신의 죄가 많음을 깨달아 가는 자는 복받은 자입니다.   복이란 죄를 많이 깨달으면 깨달을 수록 하나님의 은혜가 얼마나 크고 많은지나를 향하신 주님의 사랑이 얼마나 크고 많고 넓은지를 알게 되므로 더욱더 많이 주님을 사랑하게 되는 것입니다(로마서 5:20; 누가복음 7:47).
