Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . 본디오 빌라도도 찾지 못한 죽을 죄가 없으셨던 예수님( 23:4, 14-15, 22) 그럼에도 불구하고 예수님을 반드시 십자가에 못박아 죽여야 한다고 소리로 외쳤던 유대인 무리들(23), 결국 그들의 큰소리가 빌라도의 무죄 판결 소리를 이겨서 그들의 뜻대로(25) 예수님은 십자가에 못박혀 죽으셨습니다.

하나님 아버지의 뜻은  유대인들이 원하는 뜻대로 예수님을 십자가에 못박혀 죽게하시므로  사람들의 죄를 사하여 주시고 그들을 구원하시는 것이었습니다.
