Identifying the People Involved: The person who stood beside Jesus and drew the sword was Simon Peter . The servant of the high priest was named Malchus . “Then Simon Peter, who had a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, cutting off his right ear. 나타내고자 하신 하나님의 일?



날 때부터 소경 된 사람은 예수님의 말씀에 순종하여 실로암에 가서 씻고 눈을 뜨게 되었을 때 예수님을 선지자로 생각했었습니다.  그러한 소경 된 사람을 예수님께서 만나사 자신이 하나님의 아들이심을 말씀해 주시므로 그 소경 된 사람은 "주님, 내가 믿습니다"하며 "예수님께 경배"하였습니다(요한복음 9:1, 6-7, 17, 35-38, 현대인의 성경).  예수님께서는 날 때부터 소경 된 사람의 눈만 고쳐주신 것이 아니라 그의 영혼도 구원해 주셨습니다.  이것이 바로 '이 날때부터 소경 된 사람에게서 나타내고자 하신 하나님의 일이었습니다(3).
