God’s love, which is stronger than death, is causing me to continue walking the path of the mission the Lord has given me (John 6:1–15). “At that very time some Pharisees came and said to Him, ‘Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill You.’ He replied, ‘Go tell that fox, “I will keep driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach My goal.” In any case, I must press on today and tomorrow and the next day—for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 동등한 대우
주인이 자기 아들의 아내를 삼기 위해 여종을 샀으면 주인은 그 여종에게
딸과 동등한 대우를 해야 했습니다(출애굽기 21:9, 현대인의 성경).
하나님 아버지는 독생자 예수님의 신부로 하나님과
원수 된 죄의 종인 우리를 예수님의 십자가에 죽으심으로 사시사 우리를 하나님의 자녀로 삼으셨습니다. 그리고 하나님 아버지께서는 우리를 하나님의 아들이신 예수님과
동등한 대우를 해주시고 계십니다. 그
이유는 예수님은 우리의 맏형님이시요 우리는 예수님의 아우들이 되었기 때문입니다(로마서
8:29; 히브리서 1:6; 2:11).
