큰 어려움을 당하고 있을 때 주님께 헌신한 자는 주님을 의지하고 그의 영혼이 주님을 바라보면서 주님께 간절히 부르짖습니다.  그 이유는 그는 주님께서 그의 기도에 귀를 기울이시고 주님의 그의 기도에 응답하시는 분인줄 알고 있기 때문입니다.  그러므로 주님께 부르짖는 자에게 한없이 사랑을 베푸시는 하나님은 그를 불쌍히 여기시사 주님의 종에게 구원을 베풀어 주십니다(참고: 시편 86:1-7, 현대인의 성경).
